Kelkan Pledges to UN’s Global Compact Initiative

Since its formation in 2004, Kelkan has been determined to deliver project safely and efficiently, by utilizing local workforce and materials. Kelkan is keen to have local involvement in all of it’s projects, therefore it has established a local hiring policy to ensure that it involves local communities in order to help develop the workforce in the Kurdistan Region. On August 30, 2014, Kelkan took this step further by signing on to the United Nation’s Global Compact, and supports its ten principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
